Glucosamine triggers to having a very high blood sugar level. A high concentration of glucosamine shortens the level of SIRT1, which leads to cell death in tissues where the protein is abundant, to the pancreas. People who take in large amounts of Glucosamine, and who consume it for long periods, have an little SIRT1 in their cells , so therefore it can cause a greater risk of diabetes.
I think that they should find a new drug to use , since the Glucosamine causes diabetes. People shouldnt use this cause , you need your pancreatic & using the pills kills those cells for making up that organ. So , therefore they shold find a medicine thats less harmful to the systme & that wont call risk in diabetes. Cause , people take large amounts of these pills that cause arthritis.
