http://www.npr.org/blogs/health/2010/11/11/131243971/adhd-on-the-rise-1-in-10kids-now-affected
In the recent years, it has been shown that 1 in every 10 children are diagnosed with ADHD some point in their lives. The jumps in this were mainly seen in kids between 15 and 17, in Hispanic or multiracial children. The rise in Hispanic children may result in better access to care, and will be taken with more acceptance in the culture. There is medicine that can be taken, and currently two thirds of the children with it take the medicine to help control they way they act.
My opinion on this article, is that their are many kids in the world who have ADHD, and since there is a way to help calm it down. that there is no reason to over react.
