Jacob Rickards current event 11/16/10

The article "Studies: Drug, Device Help Treat Heart Failure" is a very interesting article thats full of information. In the article it explains that a Pfizer drug and a device from Medtronic can boost survival and cut trips to the hospital by patients having trouble breathing. This is very good news to patients with mild to moderate heart failure. More than 5 million Americans and 22 million people worldwide have heart failure each year. With this combination of the new drug "Inspra" and the new device out that helps breathing, heart failure patients have a little less weight on their backs.
In my opinion this article was pretty interesting! It shows how science can really help or save people's lives. These kind of experiments are the ones that truely help people. These are what our tax dollars need to be spent on and this really gives up for humanity. If we can solve heart failure, who knows what else we can solve!
