Exhausted neurons die prematurely and trigger disease symptoms

Northwestern Medicine study say that dopamine releasing neurons in a part of the brain called the substantia nigra it requires a lot of energy, it creates stress that could have the neurons suffure from premature death. The death of neurons can cause Parkinsons Disease . Its common for people to lose dopamine releasing neurons with age. Causes of Parkinsons disease doesnt have a known genetic link , its the second most common neurodegenerative disease.

I think they should do more research on this , because this could be the cause of Parkinsons disease.
