Why are men more susceptible to alcoholism?

This article is about alcohol is the most abused substance men are up to twice as likely to develop alcoholism than women. Alcohol is a pleasurable effect. The men have greater dopamine release than women. The increase was found in the ventral striatum, which is an area in the brain strongly associated with pleasure, reinforcement and addiction formation. In men, the dopamine increased is released . This has a stronger association with positive effects.

What I think about this article is that the alcohol has more affect on the men than the woman. Also , that it men abuse the alchohal more because , of something that trigger in their brain . but , scientist cant really determine on who abuses the alcohol more.
