Obesity May Up Death Risk in Older Women With Colon Cancer .
Women past that are obese and who has colon cancer seem to have a risk of dying from the causes. Woman with the diesease who have an unhealthy waist-to-hip and large waist are in risk of dying. Colon cancer is the second leading cause of cancer-related death among women and men today. It is expected to kill more than 51,000 people -- including nearly 25,000 women. Studies have found a link between excess body weight and a higher risk of colon cancer. Obese women with a body-mass index of 30 or higher , has a 45 percent increase in all causes of death compared to women with a healthy weight. Researcher's found that the risk of dying was higher among underweight women, with a BMI below 18.5.
I think that woman who have this problem should try to maintain there weight and try to keep their BMI down so they wont have the risk of dying this year . For woman who dont have this promblem is good because they should keep their health in good conditions.
