http://www.ohio.com/news/top_stories/101777338.html This article is about how a college lab was granted money to continue research. Northeastern Ohio Universities Colleges of Medicine and Pharmacy was granted 198,000 dollars by U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration. The college is doing a 300,000 dollar renovation and thanks to the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration, half of the cost will be paid for. The lab being upgraded is used to teach incoming freshmen students. I feel this is important because it will help increase the hands-on experience the students will have. Some medicial facilites do not have the type of lab that NEOUCOM will have. The downfall of this lab is that only 115 spots available. It would be better if they had a way to teach more students in this new building.
