According to a study from Washington State University, scientists and reaserchers have successfully found the mechanism in our brain that causes sleep to switch on and off.
James Kruger, a neuroscientist at WSU stated this: "We know that the brain activity is linked to sleep, but we've never known how. This gives us a mechanism to link brain activity to sleep. This has not been done before." Further analysis of this is going to help scientists focus on finding ways to help further studies in the medical field, such as the treatment for new sleep aids and brain injuries.
I think that this study is great. It seems reasonable, not spending money on some wortheless experiment. If they further their studies with this they may be able to cure different brain injures, and help people with sleep dissorders. I agree with this reserch 100%.
